The IDG-8710P is a medium-range RFID reader that reads a card at up to 100 cm, so a driver need not wind down the window or reach out to a post. It sends Wiegand 26 to the controller, the format almost every access system accepts, so it drops into an existing installation. The IP67 housing is sealed against dust and water for outdoor mounting at a gate or barrier. It measures 260 × 260 × 35 mm.
